River Of Love hosted praise and worship leader Pastor Corrado Salme' a two night 'Praise and Worship Concert' on October 16th and 17th 2009.

So many enjoyed the strong presence of The Lord in a time of Praise and Worship, as the Body of Christ came together under the ONE BANNER OF JESUS!

Il-QAWWA TAL-KOMMITTMENT

Donnu, qisu, li ħafna għadhom ma ntebħux il-għala dawn jibqgħu jaqgħu u jfallu fil-mixja tagħhom u t-talb tagħhom jidher qisu ma jinstemax jew ma jiġix maqlugħ.

F’l-esperjenza tiegħi nista ngħid li l-ħajja Kristjana nistgħu nikkomperawa ma karozza. X’irrid infisser b’dan? Nigħdu aħna, inti tista jkollok karozza sabiħa minn barra imma jekk ma jkollokx magna xorta ma tistax taħdem. Jekk ma’ jkolliex ‘stearing’ xorta ma’ tistax issuq. Jekk ikollok stereo qawwi u magna kbira pero mingħajr roti, xorta waħda l-karozza ma` tista’ tmur imkien!

Il-ħajja tal-Kristjan hija pjuttost similari ħafna. Tista tkun taf il-Bibbja blamment. Tista jkollok fidi kbira u forsi tħobb taqra ħafna l-Bibbja imma jekk karatteristika partikolari tonqoslok – li hija parti sustanzjali fil-karattru t’Alla – il-Kristjan se jkollu xi ħaġa ‘mportanti nieqsa fil-ħajja tiegħu/tagħha.

IL-MEJDA TAL-MULEJ/TQARBIN

It-tagħlim tat-tqarbin jew kif insibuha fil-Bibbja, il-Mejda tal-Mulej huwa wieħed mit-tagħlim bażiku u anke fundementali li jissemma fil-Bibbja kollha; kemm fit-testment il-Qadim kif ukoll fit-Testment il-Ġdid.

F’Malta dan insibuħ bħala “Il-Mejda ta’ l-appostli”, jew ukoll “L-Ikla ta’ l-Għid”. Xi wħud issejjħula ukoll, “L-Ewkaristija”. Is-sinifikat eżatta tal-kelma “Ewkaristija” ifisser “Ġisem ta’ Kristu” li ġejja mil-Latin u mil-Grieg.

Xi ħaġa li għandna nkunu nafu wkoll huwa li t-Tqarbin jew Il-Mejda tal-Mulej, hija xi ħaġa li tikkonsisti parti minn dawk li fil-Bibbja jissejħu Kmandamenti ta’ Kristu. Dear Gordon-John Manche,

Thank you so much for coming to Creston, Iowa. Not everyone is willing to come to our little church in our little town. I appreciate how you ministered to the people including myself with great sensitivity. I also was pleased that you always conducted yourself with the highest integrity. My biggest fear is that I will have to interrupt a guest speaker whom I feel is trying to take advantage of the people or who simply is not walking uprightly.

I really valued the encouraging words you spoke to me by the Spirit. I am also glad to report that I have recovered from my sickness. Ethel’s treatment has gone superbly. Her heart report was great and she was able to have outpatient surgery to remove the lump in her breast. The doctors say it looks cancerous but the results are not back yet. We continue to stand with her in her faith that the tumor will be benign. Regardless, we know that the Lord has provided. I have not heard a bad report about your visit. To the contrary everyone has been very positive

Gordon became a member of RHEMA Bible Church in October 1999. As a member, he has been faithful in his attendance of regular church services. Gordon volunteered by his willingness to be involved in several areas of the church.
