Why services are on Wednesdays and Saturdays instead of the traditional Sunday Church?

Question:

Hi, I was just browsing churches in Malta and liked the look of River of Love. Can you tell me why services are on Wednesdays and Saturdays instead of the traditional Sunday Church. Thank you.

Answer:

When The Lord led me by The Holy Spirit to start a Fellowship in Malta about the year of 2005, I specifically felt The Lord tell me to have a meeting on Saturday night and Wednesday night! As Simple as that!
We have seen great fruit by being led by The Holy Spirit and keeping to the Word of God! Every week we see people giving their lives to Christ, many others finding freedom through Christ from demonic opression and being healed from sicknesses and disease as well and many other wonderful things happening.

One little point that you made was, "why don't we meet ...instead of the traditional Sunday?"
Well dear friend, we are not good in following tradition, especially that which is man-made. (Colossians 2:8, Mark 7:6-13).

I am not going to get into the argument of whether Christians should meet on Sundays (Sun-days) or Saturdays (Sabbaths). I see in the scriptures that the Sabbath Day of Assembly in the New Testament was never changed or replaced, but it was neither forbidden for Christians to meet on Sundays. I can see that in the New Testament Christians also met daily so I think it is not worth the spittling hairs over this issue, but what is truly important is to love the Lord with all your heart and obey His commandemets and let Him lead you by His Holy Spirit! (Acts 2:40-47).

We give God all the Glory for all that He is doing!

"For as many as are led by The Lord, they are the sons (mature children) of God" Romans 8:14.
